Warwick Sargeant
Warwick Sargeant: Warwick completed a B.Ed in Physical Education at Sydney Uni and taught for 5 years. His keen interest in biomechanics ,anatomy and sports injury led him to commit to another 4 years full time study, completing his physio degree (with distinction) some 20 plus years ago. With two decades of clinical experience, Warwick enjoys the challenge of differential diagnosis in complex musculoskeletalĀ problems. He is a committed manual therapist and very much ” hands on ” . He is also long term member of the manual therapist and sports injury special interest groups within the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Warwick’s experience and expertise in orthopaedics has fostered an excellent relationship with some of Sydney’s leading orthopaedic surgeons.
Complete rehabilitation from injury and prevention of further injury also require a specific exercise programme for each individual’s condition . Long term fitness and well being programmes need to cater for pre-existing conditions , the patient’s likes and dislikes and even local facilities and terrain. Where there is a will there is a way and Warwick also prides himself in the provision of effective , time efficient and half-way fun exercise programmes.
Christine Cumming
Christine Cumming is a physiotherapist of 14 year’s experience and a former middle distance athletics champion who graduated in 1995. She is prouder these days of her 2 young children and understands the challenges for today’s young mums juggling work and family commitments yet still looking after their own physical (and mental ) well being. Christine’s strengths lie in relieving back and neck pain ,sports injuries and orthopaedics. She has a particular interest in education of postural awareness , core stability and linking these to activities of daily living and generalĀ fitness programmes.
Anne Dalton
Annie Dalton is a local mum with 2 schoolchildren who graduated in 1984 with her Physiotherapy Degree. She is highly experienced in treating sporting injuries , women’s health pre and post childbirth and she has a special interest in postural correction and the use of functional core strength.
Her strength lies in assessing the whole body and aiming for long term relief of pain by simple changes to posture and lifestyle.
Bride King
Bride King graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physio) and has over 12 years experience as a physiotherapist. Bride has a keen interest in sports/musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has worked with numerous sporting teams such as Athletics NSW , NSWIS NetballĀ , NSWIS Water polo , Athletics NZ and Netball Canada.
Bride returned to university in 2003 to study a Post Graduate Certificate in the Pilates Method. She enjoys training clients in Pilates and core stability to help them recover from and prevent further injury.
